I have been tournament bass fishing for about 18 years now. Through the years of bass fishing I kept wanting my plastic baits to be softer and, more important, have more action. I just couldn't find those kind of baits. So I decided to start making my own hand-made baits. Early on I found that making soft plastic lures wasn't to difficult but to make them the way I wanted them was a bit more challenging. Through constant dilligence and hard work I was able to find the perfect plastic. In fact, the plastic I found not only was super soft and held a hook well but it also floats (baits that are made with sinking plastic will be noted in the bait description). What we found was that the baits will actually move on there own. If there is any movement in the water, such as current, wind, or man made disruptions the baits actually move on there own. Baits made with salt, sugar, or poor quality plastic will just lay there until you give it action but not our lures. Then the word got out.
I was giving my friends baits that I was making and they said that I should start selling them. I gave it some thought and decided I would sell to anyone who asked for them. I had no advertising other than word-of-mouth but I started getting phone calls from people living across the U.S. What do you know, I now have a website.
